Butterick B5710 "Pippas Dress"

Das schöne Stück wartet nun schon zwei Jahre(!) auf die Fertigstellung. Jetzt ist es so weit, ich habe es geheftet, was nicht einfach war. Das ist bisher der schwierigste Schnitt, den ich gemacht habe. Erste Anprobe kann statt finden. Ja! Es lohnt sich weiter zu machen. Es passt und sieht auch noch gut aus. Aber, was ist das. Wieso passt es im Rücken nicht so wie es nach der Zeichung aussehen sollte. Hmmm...., da stimmt doch was nicht. Wie soll es denn nun sein? Oh nein. Ich muss schon wieder an einem Schnitt basteln, bis es schön aussieht und passt. Ich mag das wirklich nicht, es ist so Zeitintensiv. Doch ich glaube es wird sich lohnen. Hier schon mal die ersten Bilder.

This beautiful piece is now waiting for two years (!) On completion. Now it is so far, I have attached it, which was not easy. This is the most challenging section, which I made. First fitting can take place. Yes! It is worthwhile to continue to make. It fits well and looks good. But what's that why it fits in the back not the way it should look like the drawing. Hmmm .... because Something is wrong. How should it be now? Oh no. I have to tinker again at an intersection until it looks nice and fits. I really do not like it, it's so time intensive. But I think it will be worth it. Here already the first pictures.

 

 

Lace-Grey-Dress

Hier handelt es sich um den gleichen Schnitt, welchen ich für das YSL Kleid verwendet habe. Als ich bei der Duchess of Cambridge ein dunkelblause Kleid aus Spitze gesehen habe und keine seiten Naht auf den Fotos entdeckt habe, hat es mich gepackt. Ich wollte es auch mal versuchen ohne eine Seitennaht ein Kleid zu nähen. Ich habe keine experten Bücher, also habe ich etwas improvisiert. So schaut mein Ergebniss aus. Das Kleid ist gefüttert. Ich habe ein Microfaserstoff auf Lager gehabt. Das fühlt sich toll an. 

Was mir an dem Kleid gefällt, es sitzt so locker und verdeckt unliebsame liebshenkel:-)

Here is the same section, which I used for the YSL dress. When I saw the Duchess of cambridge in a dark blue gown of lace and have no side seam discovered in the photos, it grabbed me. I wanted it a try without a side seam to sew a dress. I have no expert books, so I improvised a bit. So look out my result. The dress is lined. I have had a microfibre fabric in stock. It feels great.

What I like about the dress, it fits so loosely and covers unwanted love handle :-)

Skirt / Rock Burdastyle 09/2012 Nr. 116

Die Idee ein Rock mit Kellerfalte zu nähen entstand mit meinem Lieblingsrock. Eigentlich ist es ein im dt. "Hosenrock" im engl. "Skort" genannt. 

Dieses Modell ist von Ralph Lauren Sport. Innen eine kurze Hose (short) außen ein Rock (skirt) = skort. Gern zu sportlichen aktivitäten getragen. Ich liebe es. Die Farbe, die Passform einfach sehr edel. 

Ich dachte ich werde es nur mit dem Rock probieren. Beim nächsten Modell werde ich es dann mit Hose nähen. Dann werde ich auf jedenfall ein Strechmaterial verwenden.

The idea to sew a skirt with box pleat was with my favorite skirt. Actually, it is in a German "culottes" in Engl. Called "skort".

This model of Ralph Lauren sport. Inside a pair of shorts (short) outside a rock (skirt) = skort. Love to wear to sporting activities. I love it. The color, the fit just very classy.

I thought I would try it with the skirt. The next model I will then sew it with pants. Then I will definitely use a Strechmaterial.
